Terms of Service

The rules of the road.

Welcome to Timetide! These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Timetide (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms are accepted by you when you download, install, or use Timetide. By using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

You must use Timetide only for lawful purposes and in accordance with Czech and EU laws.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 13, you may not use Timetide.

Age Requirement

Users must be 13 years or older. Timetide is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from users under this age.

3. Description of Service

Timetide is an iOS app that helps students track their class schedules using Live Activities. The App is privacy-first, requiring no user account and storing all data locally via iCloud.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the App to breach any laws.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Transmit viruses or malicious software.
  • Interfere with the App's operation.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Michal Zamastil and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

6. No Warranty

Timetide is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" with no warranties, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Michal Zamastil or his affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Michal Zamastil and his affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or your violation of any terms of these Terms.

9. Termination

  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

10. Force Majeure

If we are unable to provide the Services as a result of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, war, acts of God, or other events beyond our control), we will not be in breach of any of our obligations towards you under these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic.

EU Users

For users in the European Union, GDPR and EU consumer protection laws also apply. Your rights under EU law are preserved regardless of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms. You will be notified of any changes by posting the new Terms in the App.
  • Changes are effective when posted.

13. Language and Precedence

  • These Terms were drafted in UK English.
  • In the event of any inconsistency between a non-English version of these Terms and the English version, the English version shall prevail.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Timetide regarding your use of the App.
